Awards

Lisa Xanthopoulou has received awards at international conducting competitions such as first prize in the 2002 Bad Homburg Conductors' Contest and second prize in the 5^th A.Pedrotti Conductors' Contest in Trento, Italy in 1997 (no first prize was awarded that year). She was one of the three finalists in the 5^th Conductors' Contest in Cadaques, Spain in 2000.

In 2008 the Municipality of Thessaloniki honour her, for her contribution in the city's artistic life.
